Introduction

PianoTracker is committed to protecting your privacy. This privacy policy explains how our mobile application handles your information, including our Premium features such as AI Coaching and subscriptions.

1. Information Stored Locally on Your Device

The application stores the following data locally on your device (via AsyncStorage):

• Piano Pieces: Title, composer, status, target BPM.
• Practice Sessions: Date, duration, personal notes, achieved BPM.
• Technical Progress: Exercise results, mastery scores for the 12 keys.
• Achievements: Unlocked badges and achievements.
• Settings: Weekly goals, language preferences.
• Recordings: Audio and video files of your sessions (stored in the app's internal folder).

2. Information Processed by Third-Party Services

To provide advanced features, we use trusted partners:

2.1 Google Gemini (AI Analysis)

When you use the AI Coach to analyze a recording:

• An audio-only version of your session is transmitted to Google AI Studio (Gemini API).
• This data is used exclusively to generate personalized pedagogical feedback.
• We do not store your recordings on our servers.

2.2 RevenueCat (Subscription Management)

To manage PianoTracker Pro subscriptions:

• RevenueCat processes anonymous transaction identifiers to verify your Premium status.
• Your payment information (Credit card, PayPal) is managed exclusively by the Google Play Store or Apple App Store.

2.3 Google AdMob (Advertising)

For users of the free version, we display advertisements:

• AdMob may collect device identifiers for advertising management.
• We configure AdMob to request non-personalized ads only.
• Advertisements are completely disabled for Premium subscribers.

2.4 Firebase (Analytics and Configuration)

• Analytics: We collect anonymous usage data (e.g., feature usage frequency) to improve the application.
• Remote Config: Allows us to update certain app settings without requiring a new store version.

3. Permissions Requested

• Camera: To record videos of your sessions (optional).
• Microphone: To record audio of your sessions and allow AI analysis.
• Notifications: For practice reminders and timer alerts.

4. Your Rights and Choices

You have full control over your data:

• Deletion: You can delete any piece, session, or recording. A "Delete All Data" option is available in Settings.
• Right to be forgotten: Uninstalling the application instantly deletes all local data from your device.
